Marian Kretschmer wurde 1980 in Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz) geboren. Kretschmer arbeitet als Maler und Illustrator. Seit 2007 ist er als freischaffender Künstler tätig. 2011 absolvierte er ein Gaststudium an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig. Seine Werke sind inspiriert vom Stil der Street Art und Graffiti. Sie zeichnen sich durch eine besondere Arbeit am Detail und einem sensiblen Geschick für Atmosphären, oft verbunden mit einer mythisch anmutenden Symbolik aus. Als Illustrator, gemeinsam mit verschiedenen Textern, veröffentlichte er bereits mehrere Comics im von ihm gegründeten Verlag THENEXTART. Marian Kretschmer lebte und arbeitete in Baden/Zürich (CH), Dresden und jetzt in Chemnitz. |
