Article of Kozik, Gregor-Torsten
Gregor-Torsten Kozik (until 1980 Gregor-Torsten Schade, also Schade-Adelsberg) was born in Hildburghausen in 1948.
Kozik was a founding member of the avant-garde East German artists' group 'Clara Mosch' from 1977 to 1982.
Since 1975 he has had numerous solo exhibitions in galleries and museums and was represented at renowned international art fairs, among others Art Cologne, Art Basel and Arco Madrid.
'Gregor-Torsten Kozik is a multi-artist, he plays with the media and pulls at its borders, the literature, the metaphor, the symbolist subtlety are the ingredients of his imagery, which he only rarely to read Motive drives. Rather, Kozik creates poetic fields in which we can move, guided not by the linguistic, but by the visual. '
