Anthony Lowe ist 1957 in London geboren. Er studierte von 1976-1983 in Liverpool, Bristol und London am renommierten Royal College of Art. Lowes ist vor allem ein Porträtmaler unserer urbanen Welt. Der Maler enthüllt die einmalige Persönlichkeit der Stadt die er auf die Leinwand bringt. Ein kunstvolles Spiel mit Perspektiven und lineare Verschiebungen machen die Arbeiten des Briten besonders reizvoll. Lowe lebt und arbeitet als freischaffender Künstler in Zürchau bei Altenburg. |
