Ed Broner wurde 1971 in Paris geboren. Broner ist als Künstler Autodidakt. Er war zwischen 1988 und 1999 in der französischen Hauptstadt als Graffiti-Künstler aktiv. Auf Reisen um die Welt kam er auch mit der Kunst Afrikas und der Aborigines in Australien in Kontakt. Seit 2000 lebt Broner als Künstler und Kurator in Berlin. In seiner Kunst verbindet Ed Broner Elemente urbaner Graffiti-Kunst mit Einflüssen zeitgenössischer Kunst. Er ist auch nachhaltig von ursprünglicher, indigener Kunst geprägt, die er auf Reisen und vermittelt ihrer Einflüsse in der modernen Kunst erlebte. Positivität und Ehrlichkeit sind dem Künstler wichtig. In seinen Bildern und Ausstellung thematisiert er die gleichberechtigten Einflüsse unterschiedlicher Kulturen und artikuliert diese symbolisch. Ed Broners Arbeiten werden seit 2004 regelmäßig auf Austellungen im In- und Ausland gezeigt. Zuletzt hatte er Einzelaustellungen in Miami, Seoul, Madrid und Berlin. Der Künstler lebt und arbeitet in Paris und Berlin. |
