Kristina Schuldt wurde 1982 in Moskau, Russland, geboren.Schuldt studierte von 2002 bis 2004 an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig. Von 2004 bis 2008 besuchte sie dort die Fachklasse für Malerei und Grafik von Annette Schröter und Sighard Gille. Anschließend war sie bis ins Jahr 2009 in der Fachklasse für Malerei und Grafik von Neo Rauch, wo sie 2009 ihr Diplom ablegte. Von 2010 bis 2012 war sie Rauchs Meisterschülerin. Die Bilder der Künstlerin sind von starker Farbigkeit und der einer Figürlichkeit in der Tradition des Kubismus geprägt. Vorbilder sind Fernand Léger oder Tamara de Lempicka. Meist inszeniert sie Frauenkörper mit auffälligen Gliedern und modischer Kleidung. Im Zusammenspiel mit Objekten und stark abstrahierten Bildelementen nähern sich ihere Bilder auch dem Surrealismus an. Schuldt lebt und arbeitet in Leipzig und wird mit der Galerie EIGEN + ART international vertreten. Ihre Werke werden regelmäßig ausgestellt - 2022 widmetet ihr das Mönchehaus Museum Goslar eine Retrospektive. |

Here you have the opportunity to acquire an original painting by Kristina Schuldt.
The dark-coloured painting with a cool female nude in an expressive pose can be regarded as one of the early major works by the painter from Leipzig. The first version of the painting "Paris", which was probably created in 2011, was already entered as a "star" in the "Roche Zehn" exhibition at Galerie Potemka in Leipzig.
Extremely stylised and in bright neon colours in blue and red, "It-Girl" Hilton can only be recognised by her long, golden blonde hair. Revised in 2013, the picture is described in detail in a monograph on the artist:
p align="center"> „The counterpart, a femme fatale, in a familiar pose, does not determine the picture, but is the picture itself, for which the room with a few Pop Art relics merely serves as a backdrop: a light-tube-like body of colour, whose breasts are reminiscent of railway tracks. Or is it just a rubber doll? Paris Hilton, famous and infamous for her scandals, is probably the target here. The long, wavy yellow hair, which also veils the face of this femme fatale, is impressive, but reveals an open red mouth, which we encounter again in the picture "Herbe Note" as a vaginal flower.“Rudij Bergmann (2013)
